You need to eat here. Small restaurants owned by truly genuine, kind people are few and far between these days. I live in Orange County and every time I come visit my grandmother in Ventura I make sure to stop here.
Mike, the owner, is amazing. The first time I was here it was during the fires and he was handwriting orders. My grandmother was in the hospital at the time and he was so warm and friendly, and threw in a couple of baklava's for free with my food to go.
The second time I visited, I brought my two daughters and mom. My youngest is EXTREMELY picky, and he made her something special just for her that had everything liked and she really enjoyed it. You can tell right he loves kids.
The third time I came and visited we ordered something that wasn't on the menu (we are vegetarians and had him combine a few things) and he was happy to help.
Delicious, healthy, Lebanese food served with a smile. Come support a local business and have an experience. -

I only ever come here because my husband likes the food. Came on a Friday to get falafel and was told the oil needed to change and that it would take 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, I still don't have the food.
I keep giving them chances. But really, it's unprofessional. Just be honest and inform the customers. Not coming back.
I want to give this place a 5. In fact, I even waited a few days to post this, hoping I would feel better about my meal. But, I have to be honest and have to give a 3. We come here often because there aren't many Middle Eastern options in Ventura and it's our favorite cuisine.
When Lebanese Oven first opened, they were very busy and simply couldn't handle how busy they were. We waited for about an hour for our food when we finally asked them about it and discovered that they had forgotten to make our order altogether. We didn't get a refund. When someone they knew came in after calling an order, they apologized to her for taking too long and gave her her food for free.
We didn't give up on it and still went back. We even brought friends and tried to give them more business. Even when they didn't have the plates we requested the second time around.
This last time, I brought s friend here form out of town. I tried to order chicken shawarma. Nope, can't. They were out. well.. can I have the tabouleh? Nope, can't. They were out. What gives? The owner admitted that he came late and just didn't have the time to prepare the food. What to drink? Water, please. The response, "I can give you tap water, but it's really gross." I will say, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. I wish, I wish, I wish that this place had it together.
But ther a problem with that level of service. It's not okay. -

It was pretty good. I mean i worked four months in Glendale recently so I'm super familiar with this type of cuisine. Hummus was bomb and so was the garlic butter. Heavy fresh garlic flavor to both. You could see him grinding chick peas in the back with a meat grinder lol. My gripe is the wraps are small. They're super cheap like $7 but I would rather pay $10 and get a larger one or $12 even. Real talk. We were still hungry after and it was an odd feeling to to try to order something else. So that's my note, make them larger. Also i couldn't see the food inspection rating on the door.
